Receptionist on Wednesdays only | ongoing, part time (1 day/wk), temporary role | in-person assignment in NYC | Architecture Firm


Our client is looking for a Receptionist to work on Wednesdays, for a long term, open ended temporary assignment. The role is Wednesdays, from 8:45am - 6pm. Pay rate is $25/hr. Must be fully vaccinated and able to work from their Manhattan office (near Union Square).

The company is an architecture firm - this role answers phones and handles the day-to-day administrative tasks for the office. Previous receptionist or administrative experience is required.

Responsibilities:

-Answer phones.

-Extremely warm and hospitable to clients and guests on the phone and in person. Offer hospitality. They enormously value a congenial and hospitable attitude. Will be dealing with VIPs.

-Order supplies. Print documents. Scan, file, fax, etc. Packages. Call messengers.

-Help keep the office and kitchen tidy and stocked, setting up for meetings, making coffee/drinks for clients, etc.

-Some general calendar and travel coordination.

-MS Office: Word – Labels, envelopes, letters. Excel – update lists, no formula. Outlook – calendars, contacts, email.

Salary: $25/hr.
