HR Associate | ongoing, temporary role | hybrid (in-person work required in NYC) | Non-profit organization


Our client is looking for an HR Associate for the next several months, to help get them through a busy period. The position is Mondays-Fridays, 40 hours per week. The role is hybrid - most of the work can be done remotely, but you must be available to go into their NYC office for important meetings and trainings (anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks/month).

The organization is a global, public health non-profit. They are looking for a strong communicator who is extremely discreet (because of the functional area and access to confidential information of this position), someone with a global mindset, with great attention to detail, who is tech savvy and organized, and enjoys working in a busy, team-focused environment with changing priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

Customer Support

-Support the team in designing and formatting effective resources such as templates, and checklists that illustrate and communicate key processes and workflows

-Support the team to keep projects on time by tracking program deliverables and milestones utilizing the project planning tool Monday.com

-Respond to general employee questions and manage the employee ticket system (Zendesk) to route questions and ensure timely responses.

-Provide timely responses to employment verification requests (via emails, letters, and calls)

-Support the team with database and records management (data work in Netsuite, Taleo, and ADP)

Onboarding/Offboarding

-Assist with new hire onboarding, benefits administration, and payroll enrollment

-Ensure employees are administratively offboarded from all HR systems as needed

Trainings and Meetings

-Coordinate HR meetings, trainings, and interviews and provide administrative support as needed

-Provide administrative support to annual performance review process

-Provide support for compliance audits, as needed

Qualifications:

-At least 2-3 years work experience providing administrative support

-HR experience a plus

SALARY: $28 - $32/hr, TBC
