HR Recruiting Assistant | ongoing, temporary role | remote | Philanthropic Company
Our client is looking for an HR Recruiting Assistant for the next several months, to help get them through a busy period. The position is Mondays-Fridays, 40 hours per week. The role can be completely remote and done from anywhere in the U.S. Candidates must have previous heavy scheduling and assisting experience.
The company works in untraditional ways to help bring about positive change in the US and around the world. They are a for-profit, mission-driven group of people who think outside the box and love what they do.
Job Description: Assist Senior Recruiting Manager with scheduling and other recruiting tasks. They need immediate help right now, but this could eventually become a permanent job, but not sure. Do not need previous HR experience, but that would be a plus. Most important: great with scheduling and very detail oriented.
-Heavy scheduling, coordinating with senior level execs and their complex calendars. All in Outlook.
-Confirm and send out video conferencing links.
-Provide a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
-Track candidates via Lever.
-Serve as the first point of contact for applicants keeping them abreast on the status of their candidacy, facilitate a heavy volume of interviews for recruitment, maintain calendars, arrange travel and meeting logistics, respond to recruitment related inquiries, and draft employment letters.
-Post job openings on internal and external job boards, websites, relevant listservs and colleges/universities.
-Communicate through professional and Internet/social networks (i.e., LinkedIn) and other tools.
-As needed, provide administrative support for the Senior Recruiting Manager.
-The company has locations across the US so be aware of time zones.
Tech: Tech: MS Office, Lever, zoom, GDrive, Slack, Expensify (expenses, not sure if will use), Iron Clad (contract, not sure if will use).
Note on hours: the manager is on the East Coast but doesn’t typically have anything scheduled before 12pm eastern. Ideal hours would be 9-6 pacific since much of the company is on the west coast, but they can be flexible if eastern 9-6 works better. Could also do 10-7 or 11-8 eastern. Can also make part time schedule work as long as the work gets done.
