Facilities Events Associate at Foundation - 4 month role (in-person work required)
Our client is looking for an Associate to assist their real estate and facilities teams. The role starts ASAP and they need the help through the end of November. The position is 40 hours per week. You must be available to work in their NYC office up to 50% of the time (rest can be hybrid). Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Description: Temporary Facilities and Events Associate that reports to Facilities Manager and Front of House.
Looking for temporary help while two staff members are out on parental leave. This role will assist with the day-to-day upkeep of the facility, along with handling event setups and administrative work.
Key responsibilities:
· Carries out day to day administrative functions
· Budgeting and data collection
· Internal Communications
· Logistics for basic cost comparisons for equipment
Key skills and experience:
· Strong people skills, with the ability to handle issues on the fly.
· Able to move heavy furniture, (up to 50 pounds)
· Willing to learn new payment systems
