Senior HR Manager - SHRM Certified | Part Time, 20 hours/week | 2-4 month+ | Remote | Non-Profit
Our client is looking for a Senior HR Manager for a 2-4 month+ temporary position - must have SHRM certification. The role is 16-20 hours per week and fully remote (candidates must be located in NY or NJ to be considered).
The organizational is non-profit research organization that works with technology.
The Senior HR Manager is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources and Organizational Culture, including people operations, recruitment, employee relations, employee professional development, building workplace culture, employment-related legal matters, equitable compensation and policy, and administrative compliance.
The current person is leaving and they are looking for temporary support on a part-time basis while they conduct a permanent job search. They think the search will take 2-4 months. This person is welcome to apply, but this is not a temp to perm role. The person leaving has a great transition document and the interim COO will also be a big help. Looking for someone with 5+ years of previous experience running an HR department and candidates must have SHRM certification.
They have two HR staff who handle many/most administrative things; events, meetings, and trainings. The short-term projects are (1) Routine people management, (2) Look Back Look Forward: Finishing up the Look Back (all evaluations will be completed in 2024) and starting goal setting, (3) A few job searches; one department review.
Tech: GSuite, Slack, Zoom, ATS.
Compensation: $50-$60/hr.
