Receptionist | 1-3 month temporary role | Onsite, Manhattan | Local Union
Our client is looking for a Receptionist for a 1-3 month temporary role. The role is Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. This role is fully on-site, all candidates must be available to work in their midtown Manhattan office.
Our client is a local Union - this role supports the office and helps to make things flow smoothly. They are looking for someone warm, friendly, and helpful!
Duties include:
-Answer incoming phone calls, can be steady. Screen for salespeople. Most people have own direct lines.
-Greet members, participants, and guests at the reception area. A steady stream of people, usually members, coming into the office and up to the window.
-Process incoming mail, including stamping of receipt and distributing.
-Process outgoing mail.
-Answer members’ and participants’ general questions.
-Data entry and maintenance of members’ information.
-Handle password resets for participants’ accounts.
-Enter event checks into database.
-Sell, order, and assist in reconciliation of Scholarship merchandise.
-Assist with filing of documentation.
-Order and track office supply inventories.
Compensation: $20-$22/hr
