PART TIME Program Coordinator | 15 hours per week, through end of January | onsite in midtown | Non-Profit
Our client is looking for a part time Program Coordinator for a 5 month temporary position. The role is 15-16 hours per week, spread over 2 or 3 days (Tuesdays and Wednesdays or Tuesday - Thursdays) and is fully onsite at their midtown Manhattan office.
The organizational is Jewish networking non-profit - this role provides support to a new fellowship program that works will Jewish college students. It will help set things up, monitor and track progress, and assist the new manager and other staff with related projects. Not all tasks are yet known so need someone flexible and who picks up things quickly.
This role is a TEMPORARY position through TSS. You would be employed and paid by our company and working directly with our client.
Job Description:
-Assist with identifying and enrolling colleges in the new program
-Send out emails and track replies.
-Coordinate information to help with recruiting students.
-Help create applications, registrations, and other documents – they use Survey Monkey
-Follow-up with school contacts and/or students to fill out forms
-Create guides
-Update the website (via Squarespace, can show and is straightforward)
-Work with finance or help organize budgets, expense reimbursements, and credit card reconciliations for staff. This is coordinator work, not accounting, but be comfortable
-Event planning and logistics
Experience/Qualifications:
-At least 2-3 years of previous administrative experience, preferably at a non-profit
-Experience working with a Jewish organization would be a plus
-Someone very detail-oriented, proactive, and organized who is a great written and verbal communicator
Tech: GSuite (cal, mail, docs, sheets-organize info), zoom, Squarespace website, Survey Monkey (to create application and other forms, can show), Certify (for financial work and can show), Salesforce (minimal work).
Salary: $27-$30/hr
